Why the directory exists

A clearer way to research ABA services

Make directory evidence easier to understand and question

Top ABA Therapy is an evidence-dated directory of ABA therapy providers. It helps people find, compare, and question directory information without turning incomplete evidence into certainty, and it separates public facts, evidence dates, unknown states, and commercial relationships rather than blending them into a score.

Experiences appear only with current permission

Direct submissions pass identity, public-use permission and privacy review before they appear. Empty or unapproved proof is never replaced with invented testimonials.

Experiences shared with permission

No experience statements currently meet our publication standard.

How experience statements are reviewed

Three product principles

The directory is designed around scope, uncertainty, and commercial separation rather than broad badges or implied guarantees.

Scope before slogans

Organization, location, service, payer, availability, and trust evidence retain separate meanings and dates. An operator with nine sites is one organization with nine locations, and what is true at one is not automatically true at the others.

Unknown stays unknown

Missing information is not converted into yes, no, available, covered, endorsed, or clinically suitable. A directory that fills its own gaps is a directory you cannot check.

Commerce stays visible

Sponsored or commercial relationships are labeled and excluded from unlabeled organic provider and job order, because an order that money can move is not worth reading.

What applied behavior analysis is, in plain terms

Applied behavior analysis is a therapy that uses observation, measurement and the principles of learning to build useful skills and reduce the barriers that make daily life harder, and it is sought most often for autistic children after a formal autism evaluation. It is delivered by a team: a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) usually designs and oversees the program, and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or BCaBA delivers most of the direct sessions under that supervision.

Programs differ far more than the shared label suggests. In-home, center-based, school-based and telehealth delivery all sit under the same three letters, and so does the difference between a focused plan and a comprehensive one. That variation is exactly what this directory tries to make visible, and it is why the pages record what each location documents rather than describing ABA once and applying it everywhere.

How Top ABA Therapy is built

Top ABA Therapy is not a copy of any single source. Each listing is reconciled from three classes of public record: business listings that establish a location exists, the federal NPPES registry that anchors provider identity, and the materials each provider publishes about its own services.

Reconciliation is where the work is. An operator running nine sites is resolved into one organization with nine locations rather than nine duplicates. A service setting or payer name only enters a listing when it appears in that provider’s own published materials, recorded with the exact phrase and the date it was observed.

Just as much value sits in what is refused. Over a thousand thin markets get no page at all rather than a hollow one, volatile claims expire back to unknown instead of standing stale, and every published fact can be challenged through the contact routes.

Built for distinct tasks

Researching care, exploring careers, and maintaining organization information use different routes and evidence controls.

Families and researchers

Use directory evidence to prepare questions, compare meaningful differences, and contact providers directly. The goal is a better first phone call, not a ranking that decides for you.

ABA professionals

Explore current, reviewed career opportunities and independent informational resources written for people who already know the field.

Organizations

Propose accurate updates and current jobs through governed review workflows, with every change keeping its source and its date.

Accountability is part of the interface

Public methodology, evidence definitions, correction paths, policy versions, and visible limitations make the directory easier to inspect and challenge. A claim nobody can question is not a claim worth publishing.

  • Trust labels keep narrow definitions
  • Corrections preserve evidence history
  • Commercial relationships remain visibly separated
